Today Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive presented an extensive gameplay video of Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2.
The video showcases returning hero Lieutenant Titus and his Ultramarine battle brothers Chairon and Gadriel on a mission on Planet Avarax.
Among spectacular gothic architecture under bombardment during a Tyranid invasion, our heroes make their way through hundreds of xenos. And when I say “through” I mean it, as Titus and his battle brothers are very liberal with the chainsword.
Of course, we get to see more iconic Warhammer 40K weapons, like Bolguns and Plasma Pistols in action.
If you’ve played the original Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, you’ll probably feel right at home, albeit the graphics are definitely much more advanced and there certainly are a lot more Tyranids than there were works back then.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2‘s release date, but for now we just know that it’s coming this winter for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC
The game is a direct sequel of the original Warhammer 40k: Space Marine from 2011, bringing back former Captain Titus, now demoted to Lieutnant due to the events of the previous game, as he faces new enemies in his quest for redemption.
We already know that the game will also pitch us against the forces of the Thousand Sons Chaos Space Marines and will support 3-player co-op.
