KFC’s latest ad campaign in the U.K. humorously trolls the traditional Christmas turkey with a playful Western-style film. In the ad, a chicken faces off against a turkey in a snowy landscape, accompanied by the famous soundtrack from “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.” The rooster ultimately outwits the larger turkey, with the ad ending on a note that while turkey may be the star on Christmas Day, chicken dominates every other day of the year. The campaign extends to outdoor and print ads, with witty lines poking fun at turkey, emphasizing KFC’s reign the rest of the year.

  1. Ironically the breed of chickens KFC uses can't even walk once they get big enough. They get so big that they just flop down. Also they're usually white (Cornish crosses). This whole chicken propaganda preys on the fact that people can't tell the difference between meat chickens and laying chickens.
