Nexon just revealed the next playable character that will be released as DLC for its fighting game DNF Duel, and it’s Brawler.
The character is based on the male version of the Brawler from the original Dungeon Fighter Online game, and the design closely follows his Hades awakening, armed with a massive spiked club and sporting a snazzy leather coat on his shoulders.
He’ll be the second DLC character released within the Season Pass following Spectre (who was launched in July after a long, long wait). His release date has not been announced, but we already know that he’s coming in the fall.
We also already know that a third new character and a new stage are scheduled to launch in the winter, and two more will close the Season Pass in 2024. We don’t know whether Nexon plans to continue with a second season pass afterward.
The announcement was accompanied by a short trailer showing Brawler as he definitely gives Spectre a hard time (and not much else). You can watch it below and see if you find it intriguing.
You may not be familiar with DNF Duel, and it’s a fighting game published by Nexon and co-developed by Arc System Works, available for PC, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
The game is based on the ultra-popular Dungeon Fighter Online, and Nexon is working on expanding the franchise further with other games, including an open-world action RPG for PC, mobile, and consoles.
