Having AI create our art for us is like asking a robot to invent new delicious recipes. It cannot be done because machines don't have taste.
5:29 this part made my vertigo act up 🤢 but the buildings are gorgeous
Eddy apparently turns into JD Vance when in a taxi
I've been using Waymo in Phoenix for months. As a nervous driver and introvert, I find it a godsend. Typically faster than a human driver, cheaper rides with no expectation of a tip, and I don't worry about them being distracted on their phone setting up the next fare mid-drive. They still can't use the highway here, and they do suck at navigating parking lots, but – this is a good use of an AI. Keep AI away from art – but let the robots chauffeur me.
Eddy, this is one of the best videos I've ever watched on youtube(and I've watched much more than I'd like to admit). Never even dare call yourself a bad writer.
I'd love to translate the video to my language to show it to my parents.
One thing that I’ve realized growing up and going from highschool to college is that thought my life being in school I’ve always been a class clown and just not taking school seriously. Which I believe effected my ability to study and comprehend complex subjects in my college classes. Trying to find the easy way out with math class led me to be dog water at it lmao. Sucks that I learned this the hard way.
I hate AI 99.9% of the time but I actually really support self driving cars. Honestly I wouldn’t even call that AI.
Pretty much all off the issues with self driving cars/waymo rn are pretty much just minor bugs and just shitty design by Waymo. Ex. The honking car thing could be easily fixed by giving each car a specific assigned spot.
Also right now self driving cars are the worst they’ll ever be and are already just as safe if not more safe than human drivers. A self driving car can’t drink 6 beers and plow a family of 5.
16:37 made me BARK with laughter oh my god
There can be No moral use of AI. It was born when some rich guys decided to steal every bit of ART in the world, and they did. They stole my music, your music and everyones music off of every laptop, desktop, server and cellphone, even servers that dont allow downloads. How could they hack everybodies pc and cellphone? Easy, they own the operating system on all of em and the servers that run Linux, they had to brute force thier way in. One guy that owns a small server business who was aware of what was going on, locked his server up with bots telling em you cant come in. So they hit his server 1 million times in a 24 hr period. Thats what Brute Force does, mind you, all the businesses couldnt do business that day as the server was being bombarded and he had to pay a bundle for all the extra band width which can be expensive. Facebooks upcoming AI is doing that right now. Zuckerberg said He doesnt care if people dont want him taking their art cause the $20 million fine he will receive is just the cost of doing business, like a tax. No its not like a tax, Its your Govt telling you Dont Do That `Is a crime!!! One of the biggest AI reviewers "Mike Wolfe" was showing stuff generated by a new AI with a 5 second video of stars moving across the sky making a bunch of half circle lines. It was called "The stars over Joshua Tree". That was my Time Lapse video I had made a year before and never posted it and never intended for anyone `to see. They didnt even change the name of the file that was stolen off my pc. Im sure Mike Wolfe edited it out of his video after I asked him too. But thats the weird shit youre gonna see more and more of. These are billions and billions of crimes. Some day they will have to send us all a small check for stealing our stuff. I will keep and take pics of it and it will be used as evidence that they admit to committing a crime against me. I might have to fight them the rest of my life and only end up with a $30 check but I have to do the right thing. We all have to Fight The Good Fight. We cant all just be bad people stealing from each other, So come now children of the Beast, Be Strong and SHOUT AT THE DEVIL
the whole section on using ai to cheat is my exact problem. i was suddenly thrown into homeschool at the start of high school, right around when ai stuff became popular and as a lazy teenager i just used it for everything. now as a near graduating senior i seriously regret that as i know jack shit about what i was supposed to be taught in school. granted, a lot of school knowledge is unnecessary, but its the principle that really gets upsets me.
i just got my fucking SCHOOL ESSAY that i spent WEEKS ON graded with AI.
