I thought sign language interpreter was a pretty safe job from AI for the foreseeable future but they have AI live caption glasses already 🙁 at least they are still super expensive and so not accessible to the average person yet.

ok but I love Eddie however he's literally comparing the first months of usable AI with over 100 years of movie history. Compare the AI movies to, say, Gertie the Dinosaur, and it's a more accurate comparison.
As a disabled person and a tech nerd, i love the IDEA of AI. For example, if I could use AI to find routes that are wheelchair accessible in real time counting variable factors like construction, hill incline, or weather, that would make my life so much easier. I don't need ai to create (steal) art, though. I love painting. It's so strange and disheartening to see the robots make art while humans work to the bone and can still barely afford groceries.
